About the artist

Jonas Wood’s paintings, drawings and prints of contemporary American life blur boundaries of figuration and abstraction. The artist has held stand out solo shows at the Dallas Museum of Art and Museum Voorlinden in the Netherlands (with his wife and fellow artist Shio Kusaka), and his work can be found in permanent collections of prestigious New York institutions; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum and the Whitney Museum.
