Ernest Zacharevic’s Style Wars has fast become a classic in his swift and meteoric rise in the Street Art World.
The mural was painted in Singapore in 2013 and shows two duelling boys mounted atop scribbled crayon horses, wielding art “weapons” in hand. The piece playfully lampoons the street art battles that take place where clashes of territory, tags and defacing create grudges and politics among street artists.
Style Wars became Ernest Zacharevic’s first ever print release in 2014, selling out instantly. The piece comes from an edition of 55 with each horse being hand drawn in crayon.
